Jim Scheible, Board MemberJim Scheeible, Member
Jim Scheible has been a dedicated educator for twenty years – as a dynamic classroom teacher and seasoned administrator. Jim held leadership positions from lead teacher to superintendent. Under his leadership, schools and school systems have consistently increased academic results for underserved students and had their charters renewed multiple times. This includes twelve years at St. HOPE Public Schools (SHPS) in Sacramento and three years leading Clayton Valley Charter High School in the Bay Area. Jim was principal of PS7 (part of SHPS) when it was recognized by CCSA as the “Charter School of the Year." In addition, Jim sat on the California Charter School Association’s Member Council for almost a decade. Since 2021 Jim has supported charter schools and charter leaders across the state of California with a particular focus on the charter renewal process. Jim joined CCA's governing board in March of 2025.
